If you re familiar with XML Serialization and the XmlSerializer in .NET, the process for creating a workflow instance is similar to the process of deserializing an XML stream into a living .NET object. Adding Counters to Counter Logs Counters are added on the General tab of a log s Properties dialog box (Figure 20-9). When you create a counter log file, the Properties dialog box is displayed automatically.
